It was on 11th November 1963 at Gousala (Sadiya) that the first Christian Organization was formed as Adi Kristian Giidum Kebang (Adi Christian Fellowship) by the people from Gousala, Rayang, Dambuk, Sunpura, Jia, Kangkong, Parbuk and Bolung. Late Lilo Lego and Late Babu Darin was selected as the founder president and general secretary respectively. Later, it was renamed as Lohit Christian Association in the year 1975, and then Dibang Lohit Baptist Christian Association in the year 1983 with its mission centre at Rayang.
Ultimately it was rechristened as Dibang Lohit Baptist Churches Association in the year 1992 and its headquarter office was shifted to present location at Midland-Agam Gite, Roing in the year 2000. DLBCA has presently 32 churches and 5 fellowships with 4000 Baptist Members and total population of 6750. Its members belonged to 17 different communities of the state. DLBCA is established with the motive to proclaim good news with a motto, “Good News to all Nations” apart from good works.
